What are the qualities of a good call center agent?
There are many skills you will need and people will probably argue with me on this but I think the most important one is typing.
I just tested myself at typingtest.com and found that I type 64 WPM at 92% accuracy for a gross speed of 69 WPM. If you find that your typing skills are lacking they also have games there to help you improve.
Other important skills are:
- Patience
- Being customer service oriented
- Assertive not aggressive
- Technical ability
- Problem solving abilities
- Troubleshooting skills
- Can work independently
- Reliability
